Losing Weight Through Food

Losing weight and feeling comfortable in my body is something I have always really struggled with, but I think I may have finally found the answer for myself. The important thing to know first though, is that everyone is different in what works for them. I am sharing what is working for me, but results may vary.
I have tried so many fad diets in order to help lose weight, I will say that the best one for myself was the Whole30. BUT even after I stopped eating Whole30 I gained all the weight I lost right back. I will, however, admit that I probably could have left off the weight if I would have eaten more healthy once my 30 days was over. The big thing for me was though, that cutting everything out forever wasn't attainable for me.
Here is what I have been doing now for the last 3 weeks and have seen results of losing about 10 pounds, but in a good and healthy way. I have increased my workouts. I was only really working out at most once per week. I have started working out 3 times per week, if not more. BUT the major thing that has worked for me is my diet. I have made my diet attainable and I can still eat what I want. The thing that I have been doing is taking longer to look at what my eating choices are and making better choices.
With my job I am on the road a LOT of the time. Which makes it really hard to always eat healthy. If I know I am not going to be home for lunch I generally try to pack a lunch, but a lot of times I am not able to go home for lunch when I had planned to. Which generally means running through a drive thru somewhere. I just make thoughtful choices when I get in the drive-thru window. And I always eat at home for dinner and try to eat low-carb to no carbs for dinner. I try to stay right at 100 carbs per day and that includes that cream in my morning coffee as well.
To help with getting to the gym more I have been leaving my gym bag in my car, so that I am always prepared. I am the type of person that once I get home I can almost guarantee you I am not going back out.
I hope that maybe sharing what I have been doing can help at least maybe one of my followers. Weight loss and feeling comfortable in my body is definitely something I have dealt with a majority of my life.
Find some way to get yourself motivated and just keep it going. My motivation this month has been a bet with my husband. He is trying to gain weight, while I am trying to lose weight. Whoever either gains or loses the most weight before we leave for vacation is exempt from doing the dishes for two weeks once we get back.
Checkout some healthy meal options on the sight and in related posts. Also, I would love to hear what helps you to be motivated or what you do to lose that weight.
