Change is a Good Thing

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Change can be something that is VERY scary, but it can also be something that is beneficial and be a VERY good thing.
As some of you may have already noticed our name has changed, if you didn't notice, well surprise!
This change is something that is very scary for myself and I have gone back and forth about for quite awhile now. But when I made my pros and cons list this was something that I knew was to be done for myself, which is something that I rarely do these days.
I wanted to make this transition from a food blogger to a lifestyle blogger, because I feel as though I am more of a well rounded person. And I'm not saying that sticking to one niche makes someone not well rounded, but sticking to one thing is not for me. (Just look at my resume!) I love to work hard and put forth effort, but I also love new and exciting. Being a lifestyle blogger gives me the opportunity to talk about different things all the time and that is something that I feel will really help me.
I'm not going to lie 2018 was a crazy and insane year for me. I was learning how to be a wife, I went through a lot with trying to discover myself more, I had some hard struggles with mental health, struggles opening up to people about said mental health, I left a job that I loved for myself and my mental state, and I started graduate school. Talk about a lot! And I totally understand that I am not the only person that has been through this in 2018 and I also understand that other people have been through a lot worse in 2018. This is not a post about asking for pity, this is a post simply about the why. Why I decided I was going to change it all.
With all this being said, this does not mean that I will not talk about food anymore, because I LOVE food and I still love cooking and baking. I'm just going to add in some other topics along the way.
So here's to 2019 and a new name and lots of new transitions! I hope you'll stick around with me and see how 2019 treats me and I hope to connect with you and see how your 2019 treats you as well.
Cheers!
